The following District budget meetings will take place in October. All meetings will be conducted virtually:


Monday, October 12 at 6:00 p.m. (Regular Board Meeting) - The District budget will be presented to the Board of Education at this regular board meeting. Community members who wish to provide comment may utilize the public participation link on the Board of Education virtual meeting webpage. The link will be available at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, and will close at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12.

Monday October 19 at 5:00 p.m. (Public Engagement Session) - Community members who wish to speak about the budget at the Public Engagement Session should fill out the Public Engagement Form, which will be available at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, and will close at 3:00 p.m., on Monday, October 19. During the Public Engagement Session, the District will call speakers in the order the forms were submitted. Please note that the call will be coming from an out of state phone number. All speakers will have three minutes to provide comments. If individuals wish to provide written comments, please email the Board of Education at boardofeducation@gbaps.org.


Monday, October 26 at 5:00 p.m. (Public Hearing) - Community members who wish to provide comment for the Public Hearing should fill out the Budget Public Hearing Form, which will be available at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, and will close at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26. Similar to open forum, the public can choose to submit written comments, request that their comments be read, or request to speak during the hearing. The Board will hold a Special Board meeting after the Public Hearing to vote on the budget. 


Links for the forms mentioned above will be “live” during the dates and times listed, and will also be available on the Board of Education webpage regarding virtual meetings

If members of the public wish to provide comment after the cut-off times for written public comments, an email may be sent to the Board of Education at boardofeducation@gbaps.org. All seven board members will receive these comments.
