Feeding America logoWe are excited to announce a partnership between the Green Bay Area Public School District and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin that will allow us to provide meal boxes as part of a Farm to Family Meal Distribution on Wednesday, November 25.

Each meal box includes 30 pounds of food and a gallon of milk - enough to make meals for a family of four for one week. The meal boxes can be picked up at the following locations on November 25:

Edison Middle School (442 Alpine Drive) - 10:00 a.m. to noon, first come first served. View map with pick-up instructions

West High School (966 Shawano Avenue) - 10:00 a.m. to noon, first come first served. View map with pick-up instructions

The meal boxes will not replace the daily meals that are offered by the District Food Service Department. All families are welcome to pick up both the Farm to Family Meal Distribution boxes and the District grab & go meals. Even if you are not enrolled in the Green Bay Area Public School District you can still receive meals. You do not have to have children enrolled at Edison or West to pick up meal boxes and District grab & go meals at the schools.

We are grateful to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin for this meaningful collaboration, and to the U.S. Department of Agriculture for providing Feeding America with a grant to distribute healthy food to families, free of charge.

Please email meals@gbaps.org with questions. Visit the District Food Service website for a listing of daily meal serving times and locations.
