My Stop Bus App

Accessing the App 

The VersaTrans MyStop app is accessible on mobile devices and on your computer. If your student has transportation, you can find your username in the Transportation tab of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please make sure that you If you don't have access to the Parent Portal, please call 448-2148 to request access. We will be sending an email via school messenger with login and use instructions the week that your bus is ready.


Please go to the Bus App Release Status Document to see the anticipated and actual release dates. This spreadsheet is organized by bus company. Simply click on the name of your bus company to see the release schedule.

If you are a split family and having trouble accessing the app because the other parent will not share their username or password, you will need to submit a request for an additional account. These accounts will only be given to people with guardianship or rights to educational information.

How It Works

The My Stop app is integrated with our bus routing software and the GPS units used by our bus contractors First Student and Lamers. Every 30 seconds or so, the GPS unit sends information to the cloud. This information then gets routed through a number of systems (see diagam below) and attempts to predict when your student's bus will arrive at the stop. This flow of information means that the bus location and estimated arrival time are not exact. Please allow for a variation of one to three minutes and plan to have your student at the stop about five minutes before the bus arrives.

Other Key Points

  • The data provided through My Stop automatically refreshes the location of the bus every two to three minutes.
  • It is important to have your student at the bus stop approximately five minutes before scheduled pick up time so as to not delay the route.
  • The app only works if your child has the same pattern every week. If your child is changing buses on different days from week to week, this app will not work.
  • The initial username for the app is based on the Family ID. If you need another account generated, fill out an account request here.
  • The data provided through My Stop automatically refreshes the location of the bus every two to three minutes.
