Students at First Nations SummitA First Nations Achievement Summit was held in March in collaboration with UW-Green Bay. The event was for 8th grade students to increase student's sense of belonging and to provide additional support around post secondary planning and preparedness.

Students had the opportunity to interact with UW-Green Bay students and staff, network with professionals from the community, learn about careers, and enjoy lunch.

It is part of the GBAPS vision for every student to graduate high school academically, socially and emotionally-prepared, which will lead to college, career, and life readiness.

Thank you to the exceptional community leaders who generously offered their time to be part of the Achievement Summit. Learn more about these leaders in the slideshow below.

Remaining summits will take place in 2023 for Latino, Latina, and LGBTQIA students. Thank you to the District Family Engagement team for planning and executing these opportunities for students: Ingrid Parker-Hill, Luis Franco-Toscano, Carrie Rogers, and Yussuf Kassim.
