Through a partnership with Leadership Green Bay, Howe Elementary Community School unveiled its new outdoor learning space on September 20.
Leadership Green Bay Team 3 worked with the staff at Howe to develop the new outdoor space to meet the needs of both teachers and students. The space allows for outdoor lessons and to engage learners in different ways.
Members of Team 3 raised $12,815 to create the space at Howe.
The space also serves as a memorial to past students and staff who passed away unexpectedly.
Leadership Green Bay hosts an annual cohort of community-minded professionals from various industries who are committed to personal, professional, and community growth.
Each year, Leadership Green Bay teams work on projects that benefit the community to raise awareness, solve a community issue, or help meet the needs of a nonprofit organization.
