FBLA Regionals

GBAPS students place at the Future Business Leaders of America Regional Competition

East, Preble, and Southwest High Schools all had students who placed at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Regionals on Saturday, February 3, 2024.  

Students who placed in the top three of their event qualified for the FBLA State Competition, and those who placed in the top five earned honorable mentions. 

The following East High School students placed at the competition:

Tallon Baird - 1st place in Computer Problem Solving
Melissa DeJesus - 5th place in accounting 1
Ivy Klein - 5th place in Business Communications
Yaquelin Lopez Segovia - 2nd place in Sales Presentation
Isaac Munchoff - 3rd place in Computer Problem Solving
Anthony Muskovitz-Karl - 2nd place in Cybersecurity and the Stax Investment Challenge
Henry Page - 2nd place in Personal Finance

The following Southwest High School students placed at the competition:

Leilani Yang - 2nd place in Web Design
Emerson Krings - 4th place in Journalism
Madison Beres - 5th place in Organizational Leadership

Preble High School took 5th place for Region 3 Overall Outstanding Chapter out of 22 total schools in attendance, and 13 of their students qualified for state in April.

Overall, Preble High School earned seven 1st place medals, three 2nd place medals, three 3rd place medals, four 4th place medals, and four 5th place medals.
