Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Scholarship Recipients

Two Green Bay Area Public Schools students have been selected for Herb Kohl Educational Foundation scholarships this year. Congratulations to scholarship recipients Nora Oleniczak of Preble High School and Oscar Sanchez Santos of Southwest High School.
Nora Oleniczak was awarded a 2024 Herb Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship. Excellence Scholars are chosen because of exceptional scholarship, leadership, citizenship, and school and community involvement.
Oscar Sanchez Santos was awarded a 2024 Herb Kohl Student Initiative Scholarship. Initiative Scholars are chosen by their schools for overcoming significant obstacles or adversity, demonstrating exceptional initiative in the classroom, and showing strong promise for succeeding in college and beyond.
Both students were awarded $10,000 to further their education.
The foundation awarded scholarships with 187 graduating Wisconsin high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence and initiative and have displayed a broad range of activity and leadership in their community.
