Many eighth grade girls attend Latina Achievement Summit at UW-Green Bay.A Latina Achievement Summit was held on May 2nd in collaboration with UW-Green Bay. The event was for 8th grade students who identify as Latina. The Achievement Summits are meant to increase student's sense of belonging, increase community collaboration in the common goal of having our students achieve the highest academic and career planning expectations, besides providing additional support around post secondary available resources and preparedness.

Students had the opportunity to interact with UW-Green Bay students and staff, network with professionals from the community, learn about careers, and enjoy lunch.

It is part of the GBAPS vision for every student to graduate high school academically, socially and emotionally-prepared, which will lead to college, career, and life readiness.

Thank you to the exceptional community leaders who generously offered their time to be part of the Achievement Summit. Learn more about these leaders in the slideshow here.
