Dawn Smith

Dawn Smith was elected to the Board of Education in spring of 2020. She’s a lifelong resident of Green Bay and the third generation of graduates from Green Bay West. She and her husband Chad have two daughters, Emilie and Marie, both of whom graduated from GBAPS. Dawn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from UWGB. She worked for twenty-two years at Schneider National and transitioned to a job as a Business Systems Analyst at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2017. While her daughters were students, Dawn was a Girl Scout leader, a member of the PTO at both Lincoln and Franklin, and the secretary for the West High Performing Arts Parents. Prior to running for office, Dawn held a seat on the board of the League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay and volunteered with the Coalition of Voting Organizations (COVO) assisting citizens in registering to vote.
